Nike and Tiffany Announce a Partnership

On Tuesday, Nike and Tiffany revealed their joint project, which will produce a limited-edition shoe and several sterling silver accessories that will be available on March 7.

Diamond Supply previously collaborated with none other than Nike SB to honor their legacy. The prestigious jewelers are finally becoming an official member of the Swoosh, which has taken the form of a straightforward yet elegant rendition of the Air Force 1.

Nike has secured another partnership with a well-known brand in the retail sector, and it is undoubtedly creating excitement. However, a lot of the internet discussion regarding the partnership between the athletic brand and Tiffany focuses on how it could have been done more successfully.

In the recognizable Tiffany Blue, the tumbled leather that makes up much of the Air Force 1’s uppers is dressed fully in that cool shade, with black limited to the nubuck that lines the Swoosh, lacing unit, and heel tab. The sterling silver insignia at the heel and the corresponding “Tiffany” branding on the tongue are just two aspects that have been carried over to the finished product in addition to the white midsole and Pantone 1837 bottom.

Priced between $250 and $475, the sterling silver accessories come with a whistle, shoehorn, shoe brush, and dubrae. The $400 Nike x Tiffany & Co. Air Force 1 1837 shoe comes in sizes 3.5M to 18M and is constructed of black suede with silver and Tiffany blue accents on the swoosh.
